OK, assuming you mean the W211 model of the E-Class (the one with the round headlights, which was replaced in late 2010), then the CO2 emissions for an E 220 diesel with the automatic gearbox are 174g/km, which means you’ll pay €750 a year in motor tax. The cost of VRT to import one from the UK is going to be around the €3,000 mark, but that’s a very vague figure, as a huge amount depends on the optional equipment fitted.
