We hope this doesn’t sound like a cop-out answer… but you can’t go wrong with either of those Skodas. They use pretty much the same mechanicals so in terms of reliability, there’s nothing in it. The Superb is the bigger car in terms of length and market positioning, but the extra height of the Karoq will equalise the performance, too. It will really come down to your personal taste: we’d have the Superb estate, but there’s no shame at all in choosing the Karoq.
