What is your advise on buying a 64kw hyundai kona? We have received a n attractive trade in price for our 2019 petrol Quashqai which has 40000 km. Is this a good time to switch to EV? Looking forward to your reply. Many thanks. John Harte
Hi John,
The Kona is a little smaller inside - and certainly in the boot - than the Qashqai, but if that doesn't bother you, then it really is an excellent electric car. It's comfortable, smooth, refined, easy to drive, quicker than needed, well-equipped and comes with really low running costs and a really efficient electric powertrain. I would say that now is the perfect time to go electric, while there are still great incentives from the government in play. The only caveat to that is that most EV owners really should have a charger installed at home (or have easy access to one at work on a daily basis), as the public charging network isn't great - and I wouldn't want to be relying on it.
