Should I trade-up sooner?
Hi there I am looking for advice on trading a car and when is best time to do so. I currently change every 2 years. I have a volkswagen passat 181 and have 78000km on it. I do high mileage and wondering should I hold it longer. To change like for like in 2020 dealer has quoted 16000

You’re obviously a long-distance driver, having racked up that sort of mileage in the space of less than two years. We’d say chop it in sooner rather than later, as the depreciation will get steeper as the mileage gets higher. Perhaps look at the 2020 ‘201-plate’ deals, to see if you can get the strongest possible part-ex for it.
