Should I trade in my Yaris?
Hi, my 08 toyota yaris failed nct on emissions - i have spotted a 2011 model terra mine is a luna and wondering would a garage give me a trade in and how much. I didnt retest as i thought would be too expensive to solve emission problem

Ordinarily, we'd suggest that you might get up to €3,000 for that car on a trade-in, if it's in good condition and mileage isn't too high, but it's difficult to predict how a dealer will price it when it has no valid NCT. It would undoubtedly change things. No harm asking them the difference and then working out whether it's worth doing the work.
