If it’s just the two kids then I’d be tempted to keep the Tiguan. It’s a lovely car and should be plenty spacious for two young ‘uns. The problem is of course fitting extra people in the odd time, and that’s where the seven seats come in handy. The Grand C-Max is a good choice – spacious and lovely to drive, but it’s also worth looking at the Kia Carens or Toyota Verso if you’re fixed on getting a seven-seater.
