Should I sell my Merc?
Hello, I've been offered €43,000 for my 191 Mercedes E220 4matic, it only has 44000 kms driven and is in showroom condition Black. I'm tempted by a Red 212 Skoda Superb Sportsline 2litre, for which i'll have to give €2000.00 extra. I'm tempted to hold on to my Merc and want to know if that's a wise financial decision. Thank you. There's no clear-cut answer here, to be honest. Your Mercedes is likely to fetch considerably more than €43,000 on a direct sale, which means you could get the Skoda and have money left over. Demand for good used cars such as your E-Class is at an all-time high right now, so I suspect that if you brought your car into a high-end dealer and asked for an offer, you'd get it. Trading in, you will usually be offered a good deal less.
