Should I replace my Honda's gearbox?
I have been told my low milage 2010 auto Honda Civic Hybrid needs a new gearbox - is it worth getting fixed as it might cost €3/4 k ? It could still be worth €6k when its fixed !

Yes, get the work done. It's for the best - if you're planning on keeping the car then it's worth having it done. If you're thinking of trading in then best still to get it done - you won't get a good trade in value on a car with a busted gearbox. By the way, we're surprised to hear this. Hondas are normally staggeringly reliable.
