Should I put money into my Focus?
my car is a 2009 focus with 164000 kms. and needs a lot of work on the front end, brakes, strouts, which will cost approx. $1300. to replace with new parts. or about $700. if I use used parts. what is my best plan?

Realistically, that car is only worth €3,500 in pristine condition, so are you going to spend more than 33 per cent of its value getting it fixed? You might want to look and see if there are any new-car scrappage schemes running right now, allowing you to trade-in the Focus for a good PCP deal on a 201-plate motor.
