Should I go for this Passat?
Hi Shane. I am looking at a 1.4 Petrol Auto Highline Passat Estate import from Japan. How would this car cope doing 70km on the Motorway 7/14 days for commuting to work? Outside driving for work my trips are only short ones around town. The odd long trip. Should I be sticking with my extremely reliable 1.6 Chrysler Delta.. sticking to a diesel car if changing or would a 1.4 petrol be up for the job? Thanks a mil

Hi Brian,
That car is more than up to the job, and while a diesel might be a little more economical on the motorway, the petrol engine would be more pleasant to drive at all times, quieter and should mean less maintenance costs in the long run. Whether you change car at all is completely up to you if your Delta is still giving good service...
