You’re best to go with what’s comfortable for you. The difference in value between an auto and a manual in Ireland is small enough these days, especially as many more buyers are now cottoning on to the fact that automatics are often easier to drive and don’t use that much more fuel, if any. Don’t forget though – if you pass your test on an automatic car, you’ll only be licenced to drive automatics from then on.
