Should I get something for my old car?
when buying a second hand car at a small price [say 4,500 euro] from a dealer, will the dealer give you something for the old car you bring him for disposal?

Yes, almost certainly. Obviously the trade-in value of a car is highly variable, and depends on the condition, history. brand and so much more, but yes, you should always get something for your old car even if it’s just scrap value.
