Should I change my Leon's belt?

Should I change my Leon's belt?

ive a seat leon tsi 1.4 petrol 2010 115000miles , should I consider a timing belt change etc at this point??

Our answer:

Hi Deirdre,

Assuming you have the non-turbo 1.4 (with no 'TSI' badge), then the belt should be changed at 90,000km and then checked every 30,000km after by a mechanic. The TSI model has a timing chain, not a belt, which requires no scheduled changes.
