Should I change my car?
Dear Carzone, I have a 1.2L petrol Peugeot 3008 (172 D) with 51000 km on the clock with no finance outstanding. What are the advantages of trading in for a new car over keeping my current car long term? Or even for another 2-3 years and then trading in

Hi Mark,
Well, the Peugeot 3008 is an excellent crossover and, if you’re happy with it, we’d say there’s no need to go to the extra expense of upgrading it. But, if you are intent on trading up to a new car on a regular basis, they say every three years is a good cycle for that so you’re bang on schedule. You’ll get far more for your 3008 now on a trade-in than you will in three years’ time, so chop it now and make the switch.
