Far be it from me to tell you what to buy or what not to buy, but I'd be very slow to buy that car myself. You'd need to be getting it for almost nothing and even then it's highly likely to need loads of work doing to it as time goes by. If a lot of mechanical work has been done recently then it might be worth taking on, but I wouldn't.
