Dear sir & madam I am thinking about to buy a new Nissan qashqai , I am low miles user. My old car is Ford Fiesta 2010 only 46000KM. question is I want to buy from dealer, but the showroom condition and brand new car is there much different? What you recommend my older car 's scrapge value? Compare with Mercedes CLA COUPE 180 ,and Toyota RAV-4, how about Qashqai then? For a lower mileage user, is the best choice still petrol?? Not worth to buy a hybrid??
Hi James,
The trade in value on your Fiesta is probably going to be in the region of €4,000 to €5,000. As for the Qashqai, it’s a very nice car, and the 1.2 turbo petrol engine is ideal for someone covering a low annual mileage. Worth pointing out that there is an update of the Qashqai due to arrive in the next couple of months, so it might be worth hanging on. In comparison, the Toyota RAV-4 Hybrid is larger, much more expensive and really only works well if you keep it in town, where the hybrid powertrain can do its best work. For mixed driving, we’d stick with the Qashqai. The Mercedes CLA is obviously a lot more stylish, and far more entertaining to drive than either of the two SUVs, but it’ll also be more expensive and a lot less practical. A car to buy with the heart, not the head.
