Should I buy a Hyundai ix35?
Hi I am currently looking at buying a 142 Hyundai ix35 it has 116,000 miles on it 1 owner and full service history new brake discs and pads and just passed NCT ....are these reliable cars ?? My neighbour has a 1.5 2012 one and said they wouldn't recommend it but a friend has a 2014 1.7 one and highly recommends it so I don't know what to think

Clearly the newer cars have fewer issues and, with a full service history, the car you're looking at is off to a good start. In general, Hyundais are very reliable, though the ix35 is known to have a few issues, though nothing terminal. Try to get a more detailed reason for your neighbour saying they wouldn't recommend it and see if that applies to the car you are buying.
