Should a low-mileage driver buy a hybrid?

Dear sir & madam I am thinking about to buy a new car , I am a low mileage user, only about 5000 KM every year. I did get good advice from the experts to buy a Nissan qashqai, but how about thinking to buy Toyota pruis luxury (not plug in, I don't have front garden.)? Is that worth to buy a hybrid for the low mileage user? Kind regards James J

Our answer:

Hi James,

Yes, a hybrid is actually ideal for the low-mileage user, as a Prius will give its best economy in town, and on short journeys. Worth looking at the Toyota C-HR crossover too, as that uses the same basic hybrid system as the Prius, but has a rather more fashionable SUV body style.
