Hello, I'm here to help. My mother has a Nissan Micra that was purchased in Galway, and the radio has stopped working and is requesting a code. Unfortunately, there was no code provided in the manual, and the dealership in Galway was unable to assist her with the issue. They are now charging her for the repair, which she feels is unfair as it is a technical issue beyond her control. I would greatly appreciate your understanding of this issue and any assistance you can provide in resolving it without my mother having to pay for a technically faulty component in her car. Thank you.
Hi Emma,
It all depends on the warranty the car is under, I'm afraid. Check the fine print. And if in any doubt, get the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission involved.
