At what mileage should the timing belt kit be changed on a 2012 Insignia

Our answer:

Hi Carl,

It would help to know the engine, as there were a lot available in the Insignia. Most models that have a timing belt (some have chains) have a change interval of 150,000 kilometres or six years. That includes the 1.6-litre petrol (turbocharged or not) and the 2.0-litre CDTi diesels. The 1.8-litre petrol is 100,000km and six years.
