All very different cars: the Volvo is small and classy, and incredibly safe, but it's a bit limited on space. The Kuga is roomy and obviously has SUV appeal but I would avoid it - it's not a car that aged well. The interior looks very cheap these days and they're surprisingly thirsty.

Of the three, the Insignia looks like the best bet. It's well made, great looking and very good to drive. Just watch for electrical niggles and leaky boot seals.
