Running costs for the BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer?

Just wondering was thinking about buying a bmw 2 series grand tourer the 7 seater just you want to know about running costs and services

Our answer:

Hi Thomas,

Well, if you go for the most popular 218d model, then you’ll be looking at an annual motor tax cost of €190 a year, and average fuel economy that should work out around the 50mpg (5.7 litres per 100km) mark in real-world driving (BMW quotes an official figure of better than 65mpg for that model). Servicing can be a bit pricey with a BMW main dealer, but it’s a good idea from the point of view of the car’s history and its future value. If you’re buying new, then you can add the Service Inclusive option at purchase time, which covers all your normal servicing costs for the first five years, or 100,000km.
