Rough value of my Renault Megane?
Hi there, I'm looking at trading in my car and just want a rough estimate of what trade in value i might get from a dealership so I know what to expect. The make and Model is 2009 Renault Megane EXPRESSION 86 5DR BODY TYPE Hatchback FUEL TYPE Diesel COLOUR Black TRANSMISSION Manual The Mileage is about 97,000 miles. The car is in good condition but needs the timing belt changed. I bought the car in March 2016 for €7,000 Thanks so much Sarah Loane

The market price for this should be about €3,750 to €4,750, but the fact it needs a timing belt is going to depress those values, probably by whatever it will cost to have the job done. Probably best to think it is worth €3,000 to €4,000, then, without changing the belt, which means you’ll be offered something like €1,500 to €2,500 as a trade-in value.
