Mercedes quotes a 200km range for the B-Class Electric, rising to 230km with the Range Plus range extender software that was an option. Realistically, though, these figures assume warm ambient temperature and gentle driving, so if you’re using it in the depths of winter and on motorways, it’ll be significantly less than this. You might have to budget on as little as 100km range in extreme use (motorway, cold weather, lots of drains on the battery), but, driven sympathetically, it’s not unreasonable to assume a regular daily range of around 160km.
