Questions on Octavia RS belt...
On 2014 SKODA Octavia vRS 2.0L diesel, is it a timing belt or chain? What is the service interval? Safe to assume the water pump would need to be replaced at the same time?

It has a timing belt, which must be changed every 210,000km - regardless of time. And yes, it's a good idea to change the water pump at the same time.
