Question about trading in my repaired Peugeot...
i am interested in trading in my 2022 Peugeot 3008 PHEV. My question is. When looking at valuing a trade in price do you look at recent issues that have been repaired fully? Recently there was an engine issue that had to be repaired three times. It?s fully repaired now but I?m wondering if that devalues the trade in price.

Hi Danielle,
A prospective buyer will certainly look at the maintenance history and wonder if the car is now ok, but all they can do is try to negotiate a lower price. It doesn't automatically mean a lower price. And I'd be surprised if a dealer would look at that when valuing a trade-in.
