Question about Mondeo autos...
Hi is the auto gear box all the same in the ford mondeo TDCI Zetec and the titanium from the year 151, I have 2liter Tdci ZETEC auto 08 with 445000klm and have never had a problem but I hear the Titanium has a power shift gearbox and gives a lot of trouble now I am been told that gearbox is in all auto mondeo cars I am a taxi driver and I know few drivers with the titanium and I cost 5000 euro to replace, Thanks’ in advance Mick

Hi Michael,
First up, Titanium and Zetec are only trim lines, and they tell us nothing about the engine or gearbox. Secondly, as far as we can ascertain, all automatic Mondeo diesels of that era use the Powershift transmission, so we'd expect yours to, too. It had a lot of issues earlier in its lifecycle, but they appear to be mostly sorted now.
