Qashqai any good for towing?
Would a 1.3 petrol 192 Nissan Qashqai be any good for towing a horse box with a 15hh cob in it ?

Hi Mavis,
The maximum towing capacity of that car, assuming that the trailer is braked, is 1,200kg, which means the combined mass of the horse and horsebox. Even if you're below that limit, I'd suggest that the 1.3-litre petrol engine isn't the best for such jobs as it hasn't got quite enough low-down pulling power - or torque. A larger petrol engine, or a diesel alternative, would be better.
