Lots of positives, with only a few negatives – that generation A6 was a big, solid and excellent vehicle, which comes with lots of equipment on all models. Their main issues revolved around electronic glitches, so check all the toys on it work properly and pay particular attention to the fuel gauge, which can often read empty when the tank is full, while S tronic gearboxes are known to fail at higher mileages.
