I take it you have some electronic problems in your Scenic causing performance issues. That model with that engine is known to develop a fault with the crankshaft position sensor. Before you spend money on replacing that, make sure a good mechanic agrees and perhaps get the car plugged into a diagnostic computer to see if there is anything else amiss.
