We do not doubt for a second that your 2009 Avensis is indeed a lovely car that has clearly been cared for, but its life as a former taxi and the simply colossal amount of mileage on the clock is going to limit its value. Similar age Toyotas of a similar spec with comfortably less than half that mileage showing are around the €3,500-€4,000 mark. In reality, you’re probably looking at around €1,500 for your vehicle, maybe up to €2,000 if the right buyer turns up.
