There's no easy way to answer that one for you as every motorist has a different set of needs. How big a car do you need/want? Where do you do most of your driving and how much of it do you do? What's your budget? Etc, etc. In very simple terms, diesel still makes sense in larger vehicles or for those that spend a lot of time at higher cruising speeds over longer annual mileages. And of course you really should also be wondering if hybrid or electric might suit you as well.
