Petrol or diesel Skoda Octavia?
We're a family of two adults and two children who do 12,000 kms a year, looking to buy a skoda octavia. Should we choose petrol or diesel? We were thinking of going for either a 1.6L or a 2L engine? What would you recommend? Kind regards

Hi Fiachra,
Definitely petrol, and go for the 1.2 TSI turbo petrol if you can — introduced in 2010, it’s a terrific engine, with low emissions and good fuel consumption, and it should be much better suited to your needs than a diesel.
