Petrol or diesel for towing?
Hi I do about 6 thousand miles a year some of that is pulling a cow box so i am wondering is a petrol car or diesel more suited to me ? I was looking at either a 08 1.6 ford focus or a 08 1.8 diesel which Is better ?

Hi Anthony,
I wouldn't have suggested the Focus as a good tow car for such a load, but if that's the choice then it has to be the diesel; it has much better low-down torque for the job. If you didn't need it for towing, I'd certainly suggest you go for the petrol alternative with such low mileage every year.
