My wife has the family seven seater Galaxy and is longing for an alternative such as Skoda Kodiaq . Reviewing prices and her drives are alot of stop , start short school runs during week , 70 000 miles over 7 years I was considering petrol 1.4 Skoda rather than dearer diesel option as the plan would be to keep it for a few years .I am also considering lower tax , maintenance yet diesel is in demand at the moment and is the TSI engine proven/ underpowered?
Hi Barry,
For what your wife will use it for, you are doing this correctly – the 1.4 TSI is definitely the better option. Make sure it’s the 150hp variant of the TSI, though, and not the 125hp model (which is a lot rarer), and you’ll be fine in the Kodiaq for city driving.
