Ok to use second-hand DPF?
Hi, I drive a 2010 Kia Sportage & the DPF needs replacing.The mileage is 200,000 km. Would it be ok to put in a 2nd hand one? Also, can you give me even an approx guess at what the repairs might cost in this case? T.I.A.

We wouldn't recommend using a second-hand DPF, no, not unless you know it has been de-clogged. Even then, it's impossible to know how long it will last. You may be able to get your own DPF de-clogged if you're trying to save money. It' impossible to give you a useful price estimate for the work, either, as rates will vary with every garage and it will depend on whether it is just a straight swap or more work is involved.
