Im buying a toyota corolla luna petrol and will be doing 20,000 km per year,is this my best option rather than diesel
Hi Kevin,
We normally say that 20,000km is the cut-off point – any more than this per annum, and you definitely want a diesel; any less, and you should be OK in the petrol so long as all your driving isn't on the motorway at speed. If the Luna model you’ve seen is a good one and at a fair price, then you should be fine to run it for this sort of distance annually. But do keep an eye out for diesels of a similar spec and mileage for similar money, as they will cost less to tax and fuel each year, though could come with higher maintenance bills, too.
