Oil pressure light showing up...
Hello Sir, my 1998 vw 1.8T Passat shows low oil pressure light when the engine warms up with a rise in temperature above 90 degrees.

Assuming that the oil level and type are correct, and that the correct oil filter is in place (and that both are in good condition), then perhaps it's just the oil light switch that is faulty. If not, it might be worth cleaning the gauze over the pick-up pipe in the sump, but we'd expect that to cause problems all the time, not just when the oil is warm.
