Nissan X-Trail stop-start issues...
Was told today by Nissan dealer that my 181 X trails stop/start system flashing a fault on the dashboard is due to the way l m driving the car. Two weeks ago same fault was showing and the dealer said it was a switch in the clutch and replaced switch. Does this make sense!

Hi Adrian,
I'd ask that dealer for a little more information on how they think your driving has any affect on this system. Perhaps they are referring to your driving profile, with lots of stop-start city traffic and a high load on the battery? Either way, a fault is a fault and they should be fixing it.
