You haven’t specified which model of Corsa you’re looking at but the closest matching model to the Micra is the 1.2 85hp petrol. In which case it’s the Nissan that’s the winner, purely in fuel consumption terms – it has official fuel figures of 56mpg on the combined cycle, compared to the 51mpg of the Corsa. (Just for reference, the smaller-engined 1.0-litre Corsa has a 51mpg rating). Mind you, the Corsa is the nicer car – more spacious and sophisticated, so factor that into your calculations too.
