Newer Golf better than my Astra?
How would you rate a 2015 1.2 vw golf 110hp comfortline?.... i currently drive a 1.4 opel astra 16 v engine. is there much difference in these engines...

Hi John,
Yes, we would rate it and, yes, there’s quite a difference. It’s not the 10hp gap so much as the fact that the 1.2 TSI has a turbo, so there’s more mid-range torque, which makes long journeys much more relaxing. The Volkswagen’s economy should be significantly better than the Astra’s too.
