My Skoda is using a lot of coolant...
Hi I have a skoda octavia 2.0 diesal!! Problem is sometimes it won't start. Needs coolent a lot like 2-3 times a week! And blowing out thick white smoke!! Only have the car two weeks bought second hand ??

Hi Dee,
I'm afraid you really need to get your car to a good mechanic quickly, as it sounds like the head gasket is gone, leaking coolant into the combustion chamber. If you continue driving the car it could completely ruin the engine.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but if you have a warranty at all we'd expect such things to be covered, especially as it's only a few weeks old.
