I have a 1.2 diesel VW polo 2011, that the turbo is having trouble. I was just wondering how mucb i would be looking at to get this replaced. Is this worth fixing?
Hi Sophie,
We don't like to give estimates for getting work done, as garages charge different rates and the price of the parts also varies, depending on where they are bought from. For your information, the labour should take about four hours of solid work.
It may be possible to get a reconditioned turbocharger to keep the price down, but if you intend to keep the car then it sounds like the work will have to be done.
