You've not told us which year the car is or what engine, so we can't look up common issues for you. However, noises are very difficult to diagnose remotely. From your description, it sounds like it could be misfiring on one of the cylinders. You really should get a good mechanic to look at it for you as soon as possible, so make sure the issue doesn't get worse and necessitate expensive repairs.
