My Daewoo has two warning lights on.

My Daewoo has two warning lights on.

I have a 2004 Daewoo Tacuma and the car is running great, but the airbag light and doorlight seem to be always on. What can I do about it?

Thanks

Our answer:

Hi Sarah,

The door light isn't something to worry about as such, but it does indicate that one of the sensors that tell the system that one of the doors are open is faulty or not connected.

We'd be far more concerned about the airbag light and we'd recommend you don't drive the car until it is seen by a professional mechanic or auto-electrician to sort out the problem. The airbag may not go off in an accident, which is bad enough, but potentially worse is that it could go off of its own accord.

You really should have it looked at as soon as possible. While you are, get them to sort out the door light too.
