My car has no NCT and I thought it had...
I bought a second hand car from dealer during the week. On the information sheet dealer provided, it said NCT not due until July, but no cert was displayed on the car. I didn’t notice until I got home.

Gather your evidence of a claim that the car had an NCT already and then get in touch with the dealer to obtain the certificate and disc. If they say it doesn't actually have one, and you have proof that they said it does, then they are compelled to get it through the NCT for you.
