We don’t have a specific figure for Dublin, but according to the National Transport Authority and the Central Statistics Office, the most popular makes and models with taxi operators nationwide (and it probably broadly applies to the Dublin region too) are the Toyota Avensis (33 per cent of taxis in use), Skoda Octavia (nine per cent) and the Ford Mondeo (nine per cent). Those figures were correct up to May 2017, so may have shifted around a bit since.
