It should do, but the critical question is the service history. Assuming it’s the 1.6 TDCi diesel, that engine is fine if it’s looked after properly, but develops problems with the water and oil pumps if left uncared for, and, if you don’t use a good quality oil at service time, then you can have problems with sludge building up in the cylinder head. If it has a full history and has been properly cared for, then it should be OK, but if not then we’d avoid it.
