Mazda2 or Toyota Yaris?
I'm thinking of buyin either a mazda 2 or toyota yaris automatic car. I am an OAP and do about 5 or 6 thousand miles per year.. I am nursing a fractured shoulder at the moment and want to get an automatic when I am o.k. to drive again. Can you please give the pros and cons of both cars as people are giving me conflicted advice (not always asked for!). Many thanks.. My driving are city and longer journeys. Kathleen F.

Hi Kathleen,
To be honest, both are excellent choices, especially from the point of view of reliability and maintenance, but they are quite different in character. The Mazda is a little smaller and has less space inside than the Yaris, but it’s much more engaging to drive and more enjoyable on the road (if that matters to you). The Yaris is bigger and roomier, but less interesting as such.
