Looking to buy an 07 Golf GT.
Hi shane im looking to buy a 07 golf gt 1.4 engine 170bhp it has only 49000 miles do you recommend any known issues with this engine thanks sharon

Generally speaking the Golf V is a very reliable car, but that 170hp GT engine is a slightly complex unit so you need to make sure that the one you're buying comes with a full, preferably Volkswagen, service history. Check it for cam belt changes, and also check to see if it's had any trouble with the intercoolers.
